Welcome to the 2nd Flash Radiotherapy and Particle Therapy Conference
FRPT 2022 is a hybrid conference which will be held in Barcelona from on 30 November – 2 December 2022.
There is also a pre-conference day (Proton Therapy Knowledge Hub) which will take place on 29 November 2022. More information about it can be found HERE.

The official language of the FRPT 2022 Conference will be English.
Participants are advised to wear business casual for all Conference functions and programmes.
End of November is a nice time to visit Barcelona and enjoy the city’s vibrant life. The average temperature ranges between a high of 18ºC and a low of 12º. In the evenings it may be chilly, so prepare a cardigan or a jacket to take with you.
FACULTY REGISTRATION DESK
If you are a Committee Member, an Invited Speaker or a Session Chair, please come to the Faculty Registration Desk to collect your badge.
PREPAID REGISTRATION
- A confirmation letter with a barcode will be sent to all non-Faculty participants a few days prior to the Conference.
- Please bring your confirmation letter with you to the Conference to enable you to collect your registration materials from the prepaid registration stations located in the Registration Area of the Conference Centre.
- If you do not receive a confirmation letter and barcode, do not worry, you will still be able to use the self-service machines by typing your full name into the machine. Hostesses will be in the Registration Area to assist you.
BADGES
Upon registration, you will receive your name badge. You are kindly requested to wear your badge during all Conference sessions and events.

All registered participants have access to the FRPT 2022 Virtual Platform from Wednesday, 30 November 2022 at 08:00 Central European Time (CET).
The platform will stay open until 2 March 2023 and you can enjoy 3-months of on-demand access to session recordings and E-Posters.

The 2nd Flash Radiotherapy and Particle Therapy Conference is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS): www.uems.net
The 2nd Flash Radiotherapy and Particle Therapy Conference is designated for a maximum of, or up to, 15 European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Within the conference venue, healthcare professional authorized to prescribe prescription medicines will be recognized with a letter P (Prescriber) indicated after their name badges.
Non-prescribers will be indicated as N/P
Most visitors to Barcelona do not require a visa for entry. However, double-check that you do not require a visa from the country you are coming from.

This invitation is prepared solely for the purpose of visa applications and is not a commitment on the part of the organisers to provide any financial support or confirmation of inclusion in the Scientific Programme.

All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.
Please do not leave bags or suitcases unattended at any time, whether inside or outside the session halls. Hotels strongly recommend that you use their safety deposit boxes for your valuables.
The Conference Secretariat and Organisers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
Within the event platform, all exhibitors (booth admins) will be recognized with a letter E (Exhibitor) indicated after their names.
